I was hired in Sept, 2024.
What do you enjoy most about TL;DR?
What I enjoy most about working at TL;DR: Accounting is that I’m continuing to learn many process flows and technology applications that make my work easier.
What is a typical work day like for you?
A typical workday for me involves bookkeeping and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. I also collaborate with my teammates to do our work effectively.
How do you stay informed about developments and changes in the accounting world?
I join webinars and follow different accounting professionals and organizations to read updates on the changes in accounting.
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
My biggest achievement to date is that I am proud of the mother I have become. I am a mother of 2 under 2. I created my own family, and I see this as an achievement because if my family is happy and secure. Everything else fits into place.
What do you do outside of work?
I spend quality time with my family and my books.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
I would be Iron Man because he represents ingenuity, charisma, and innovation.
Do you have any advice for those interested in entering the accounting field?
My advice for those interested in the accounting field is to prioritize gaining practical experience and having a mentor. Also, don’t forget to take time for yourself.
