Team member spotlight: Khaled

Khaled - TLDR Principal Owner

Today we want to introduce Khaled, our new Principal, and the newest TL;DR team member to join the team!

Why did you decide to become an accountant?

Accounting is the language of business.  Once you’ve mastered it, the possibilities are endless.

When did you join TL;DR?

I joined the TL:DR team as a Principal in December of 2023

What do you enjoy most about TL;DR?

Our ability to help clients across the United States, and the flexibility it provides the team.

What is a typical workday like for you?

My day starts at 4 AM. I enjoy a nice cup of coffee and start to work on projects in peace before the business world wakes up. Then I shower, get ready, have check-ins with the team, and spend the rest of the day meeting with clients.

What is your favorite tip for small business owners?

Ask yourself if you are creating just another job or a business. Ideally, you should be building something that doesn’t require you to be there 40 hours a week.

How do you stay informed about developments and changes in the accounting world?

Connecting with like-minded business societies and of course, IRS publications.

What do you do outside of work?

Traveling and grilling!

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

Jay Gatsby

Do you have any advice for those interested in entering the accounting field?

Stick it out! It’s a steep learning curve but it pays out in the long run.

We welcome Khaled to the TL;DR: Accounting team!

P.S. Want to learn how to manage your money better as a therapist? Now you can learn directly from Toni Cameron, CPA with our new on-demand webinars! Check out our most popular webinars here.
