Heather Simpson is an amazing Executive Assistant. She keeps the virtual office running, making sure the many projects are still moving and that we don’t miss an email. We hope this gives you a bit of an introduction to Heather!
Why did you decide to become an Executive Assistant?
It plays to my strengths of organization, and my love of helping people.

July 16, 2018 was my first day.
What made you decide to want to work for TL;DR?
The amazing ladies that work here!
What do you enjoy most about TL;DR?
It’s a really knowledgeable and supportive environment.
What is a typical week day like for you?
Coffee. Lots of coffee. I’m usually keeping up with my 4 year old. We try to go to a park everyday, and share a great love of animals.
What is your favorite tip for small business owners?
Don’t be afraid to seek help. Utilizing other people’s knowledge and experience can save you big time.
How do you stay informed about developments and changes in the industry?
I’m working on this one. I took a few basic accounting classes in high school and college and really enjoyed them.
How are you always learning and improving yourself?
I am an avid reader, and not afraid to ask questions.
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
Coordinating and executing multiple cross country moves, and still being sane? Being a military spouse is not easy!
What do you do outside of work?
I love collecting and trading Disney pins, and help run a regional group that holds regular pin trading events. I also love to cook and bake, and eat of course! I l always try new foods when I travel, and then try to recreate them at home. I also love to play all games (card, board,and video) and enjoy attending gaming conventions with my husband.
